| Fluent in English, French and Hungarian, Carrie holds a B.A. in Canadian Studies, as well as an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Quebec literature. She has edited articles and books in the world of Quebec theatre and has also been involved in editing texts on language teaching, recently joining the editorial team of one such book published by Cambridge University Press. Carrie is pleased to have been dubbed "Ms. Children's Book Editor" by Gumboot Books! A former Paralympic fencer, Carrie is currently living in Hungary where she teaches English to other people's children, and just about everything to her own son.
