I have spent most of my adult life volunteering with children. During university, I volunteered in a daycare where I discovered two year old really aren so terrible and I worked in a child language development lab. My absolute favorite job was running the library summer reading program for children who needed a bit of a boost over the summer months. Upon completion of university, my intention was to work with troubled youth as a social worker, but the early delivery of my daughter forced me to stay at home where I discovered how delightful it is to be a stay at home mom.
I spend my days with my three children, hiking, reading, writing and playing! I still volunteer with children in my church where I also facilitate a mom and tot group.
