Paris Francine (Brent) Gibson was born in Chicago Illinois. She began writing poems as a teen, selling them at art fairs. Later she wrote and assisted in the editing of a neighborhood teen advice column for The Anti Drug Coalition Newsletter in Chicago.
After taking years off from writing to raise her son, Deammie, she began a career as a marketing coordinator. Paris married her husband, Mark, and together they have two children, Maya and Mark II. She is now a homemaker.
Paris’s desire to write was reawakened by attending a class at a local college, which later prompted her to start a writer’s critique group. Supported by her loving husband, her inspiration for stories comes from her family.
